Barclays Pocket Protector
An app concept aiming to bridge the gap between money and mental health
An app designed in collaboration for the 2020 D&AD New Blood Awards Barclays brief.
It fits snugly on the homepage of the Barclays app and provides a variety of services to help users have closer control over their finances and spending habits.
One of the functions it provides is allowing the user to apply a spending cap in establishments of their choosing to prevent overspending.
This cap applies to retail stores as well as bars/clubs, meaning they can go out without having to worry about spending too much.
